Prices for milling start at $150.00 per hour
Standard blades included and an additional $25.00 per damaged standard blade
Carbide blade upgrade additional $75.00 and $100.00 per damaged carbide blade
Air Drying
Air drying is the first phase of the drying process. The lumber is stacked and stickered to allow unheated air to pass between the boards. This process can only get moisture content down to approximately 12-15%, and takes about 1 year per inch of thickness, which varies on species. Actual dry times vary.
$2.00 per board foot (BF). Initial price based on approximated BF of uncut log. Price may go up or down based on final BF produced.
Kiln Drying
Kiln drying is is the process of drying lumber with heated air. Kiln drying brings the moisture content down 6-8%. This helps prevent boards from warping, and reduces how much they contract and expand during temperature fluctuations. Once the lumber has reached 6-8% moisture content the kiln is brought up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit to sanitize, which kills any bugs, larvae, and eggs.
$3.00 per board foot (BF). Initial price based on approximated BF of uncut log. Price may go up or down based on final BF produced.

$150.00 each way up to a 35 mile radius
All prices are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed, except prices for placed orders once they have been accepted with the exception of board feet produced, blade damage, and blade upgrade. Prices stated do not include any sales, use or excise tax or any other tax, duty or charge which is now in effect or may be hereafter imposed by any Federal, State or other authority. All such applicable taxes, duties or other charges shall be paid by Buyer unless Buyer shall provide Seller an exemption certificate acceptable to the appropriate authorities.
